Frigel for the World Soil Day
The importance of a healthy soil, water and energy saving.
Today, December 5th, we celebrate the World Soil Day, a recurrence established by FAO to raise public awareness on the importance of a healthy soil and its sustainable management. Soil is a vital resource for food production, biodiversity conservation, climate regulation and human well-being. However, soil is threatened by several factors of degradation, such as salinization, erosion, pollution and soil consumption.
At Frigel, we are aware of the crucial role that soil plays in our life and in our business. That is why, for over 60 years, we design and manufacture innovative and sustainable cooling systems for different industries, including food and beverage, plastic and rubber, energy and data centers.
Our systems use eco-friendly refrigerants in very low quantities per module, eliminating the risks associated with the use of fluids such as ammonia. Moreover, thanks to the adiabatic technology, we drastically reduce the consumption of water and electricity, saving precious resources and limiting CO2 emissions.
At Frigel, we believe that the true innovation is the one that combines performance and sustainability. That is why, we want to celebrate the World Soil Day by sharing with you our philosophy and our solutions.
Over 10,000 systems installed in each climate zone. 10,000 customers. They are getting the following benefits:
- 30 million m3/year (7 billion gallons) of water saved, equal to the annual consumption of 400,000 inhabitants
- 700 million kWh/year of electricity saved, amounting to 60,000 TOE (tonnes of oil equivalent)
- 500 million euros/year, increase in profitability for the reduction of operating costs and increase in productivity
Take care of our Soil: let’s celebrate the Word Soil Day!
