A paradigm shift in the Data Center Industry
Free Cooling, Adiabatic, Trim Cooling, Heat Reuse
Frigel has been designing Adiabatic Systems for over 20 years
Data center temperatures vary depending on the servers and type of cooling system, but temperature swings outside ASHRAE or design standards could have serious performance implications. Downtime at data centers is potentially catastrophic and every precaution should be taken to eliminate, or at least minimize, this threat. Therefore, it is essential that data centers are equipped with efficient and reliable cooling equipment.

Frigel Group has received OCP Community Membership and will be part of the “Modular Data Center” group with the scope of collaborating on design and uses of modular solutions in power, cooling, IT, and all-in-one modules. Primary interests in the Project include: improving the speed of data center deployment, reducing the environmental impact in data center construction, and improving data center efficiency in both power and cooling.

How does Data Center Cooling System work?
Integrated cooling solution for Data Center Industry
Data center cooling is no longer a single decision — it's a system of decisions. Rack densities are climbing well beyond traditional air-cooling limits, water is becoming a constrained resource in many regions, and regulation is starting to demand proof, not intent: the EU's revised Energy Efficiency Directive already requires data centres above 500 kW to report energy performance, with minimum sustainability standards expected and a climate-neutral target by 2030.
Our cooling solutions help increase energy and water savings, improving efficiency (PUE 1.1–1.4) and profitability for every data center load and facility size.
Ecodry
Central Adiabatic Cooling System
The Ecodry System is completed by units installed at each mold and connected to a central adiabatic cooling system positioned outside to expel the heat deriving from the processes.
This modular system - alternative to evaporative towers - consists of closed circuit coolers that can keep the cooling temperature even lower than the ambient temperature.
Furthermore, this centralized system can provide direct cooling to all other users that require water at a temperature higher than the ambient temperature, such as hydraulic machines, resin dehumidifiers, air compressors, water-cooled chillers, etc.
