Advantages

All-In-One for a better performance

  • All-In-One Solution, drastically reduces system CAPEX (lower engineering, removes most external piping, accessories and labour, significantly lowering total investment per kW of cooling capacity available).

  • No technical room required, save valuable indoor space thanks to an all-in-one solution.

  • More Capacity in less space, micro-channel coils deliver 15-20% higher capacity per fan than standard equivalent lines.

  • Reduced annual energy and water consumption, outperforming standard adiabatic benchmarks.

  • Uninterrupted Operation: eliminating Operational Single Points of Failure through active N+1 redundancy guarantees uninterrupted cooling performance.

  • Off-the-shelf availability: engineered as a standardized, competitively priced product, Hybreco reduces complexity and enables quick, ready-to-ship deployment.

Features

Total Modularity

  • All-In-One Solution with its process pumps, sensors, water strainer and controls on board (2 fans per module).

  • Plug&Play design delivers lower Lead times, easy and total scalability (up to 10 modules, 20 fans) with unlimited parallel expansion.

  • Functionality: Adiabatic or Dry.

  • Water Circuit: Direct (pressurized) or indirect (brazed-plate heat exchanger + recirculation pump). On-board VFD process and recirculation pump (if present). Y-type water strainer.

  • Heat Exchanger: All-aluminum micro-channel coils.

  • Intelligent control logics: integrated water & energy saving logic drastically reduces OPEX

FAQ on Modular Thermal Management System

What is the Frigel Hybreco HSM modular adiabatic cooling system and how does it work?

The Frigel Hybreco HSM is a next-generation modular adiabatic cooling system engineered for high-efficiency thermal dissipation in industrial processes. Unlike conventional cooling setups, the Hybreco HSM combines dry-mode operation with intelligent hybrid/adiabatic technology. When ambient temperatures rise, the system atomizes a micro-mist of water to precool the incoming air before it reaches the heat exchanger coils. Its modular design allows manufacturers to scale cooling capacity precisely according to production demands, ensuring operational continuity, flexibility, and superior energy efficiency.

What are the key advantages of the Frigel Hybreco HSM compared to traditional evaporative cooling towers?

Compared to traditional evaporative cooling towers, the Frigel Hybreco HSM delivers three major competitive advantages:

  1. Extreme Water Conservation: Water is utilized only during peak ambient temperature conditions, reducing overall water consumption by up to 95%.
  2. Enhanced Safety and Zero Legionella Risk: Operating as a closed-loop system that runs dry for most of the year without stagnant water, it eliminates the risk of Legionella bacteria growth and drastically reduces the need for continuous chemical treatments.
  3. Reduced Operating Costs (OPEX) and Low Maintenance: By preventing scaling and fouling on coil surfaces, the system maintains constant heat transfer efficiency over time while significantly lowering routine maintenance overheads.

How does the Frigel Hybreco HSM technology achieve water and energy savings?

The Hybreco HSM optimizes resource consumption through an advanced digital control system paired with high-efficiency EC fan technology. The system continuously monitors ambient conditions and process heat load, automatically adjusting fan speeds and modulating water atomization in the adiabatic chamber. Operating in Dry Mode for the majority of the year, it consumes electrical and water resources strictly proportional to real-time demand, significantly reducing the facility's overall carbon footprint.

How scalable and configurable is the Hybreco HSM modular system for industrial plants?

Designed as a native Plug & Play modular solution, the Frigel Hybreco HSM allows seamless and cost-effective expansion as production lines grow. Individual Hybreco HSM modules connect easily in parallel using dedicated headers, offering a compact footprint, minimal clearance distances between units, and robust mechanical/electrical redundancy to guarantee uninterrupted plant operation during maintenance phases. The cluster consists of 1 to 10 modules (20 fans), with an unlimited number of clusters in parallel.
