Biogas and Biomethane for a Green Economy
Giving value to waste and reducing pollution are great economic and ecological opportunities. Biogas is an energy and economic resource with short pay-back time investments.
Before being able to be used as biological fuel, biogas generated in dumps and digesters must be “purified” by removing moisture and undesirable products that are easily condensable or filterable.
Dehumidification is required in all processes where biogas is used, both to produce energy (in endothermic engines) and to produce biogas (biogas upgrading).
Biomethane is produced by biogas upgrading with different technologies (chemical and physical) to be pumped in the gas grid, in gas vessels or liquified for automotive use.
