Hybreco HSM: product launch

Modular Adiabatic Thermal Management System

A Solution Beyond Traditional Adiabatic Systems: Frigel Presents the New Hybreco HSM

As thermal loads in modern companies and high-performance industrial processes continue to rise, temperature management requires solutions that go beyond the compromises of the past. Traditional adiabatic coolers and evaporative cooling towers have served the market for decades, but today's challenges related to water conservation, energy efficiency, and space optimization demand a true technological breakthrough.

It is from this necessity that Hybreco HSM was born—Frigel's new modular solution designed to set a new standard in industrial cooling across various sectors, including plastics, food, beverage, chemical, energy, biogas, and more.

Beyond the Limits of Traditional Adiabatic Systems

Traditional adiabatic coolers often present structural limitations: they occupy a large ground surface area (footprint), offer reduced modular flexibility, and require water management that is not always optimal during warm seasons.

The Hybreco HSM system overcomes these constraints by integrating smart hybrid technology with an ultra-high power density modular architecture.

  • Drastic Footprint Reduction (Average -27%): Hybreco HSM redefines space utilization. Thanks to its compact layout and high thermal performance, it allows for up to 41.7% savings in footprint area compared to traditional 3DK/4DK systems, making it ideal for space-constrained installations or expanding existing facilities.
  • Maximum Power Density (kW/m²): With an increase in power density up to 20.74 kW/m², Hybreco HSM delivers superior cooling capacity while occupying less ground area, optimizing infrastructure and reducing construction impact.
  • Reduction of CAPEX and Operating Costs: The factory pre-engineered "All-in-one" design simplifies job-site piping and accelerates installation. Comparative analysis shows an average reduction in specific CAPEX per kW of 25% (up to -51.9% in specific operating scenarios).
  • Uncompromised Water and Energy Efficiency: The system operates primarily in "Dry" mode for most of the year, activating adiabatic spraying only during peak ambient temperature periods. This guarantees water savings of up to 95% compared to traditional evaporative cooling towers, eliminating health risks (Legionella) and the need for harsh chemical treatments.
Hybreco HSM represents the perfect synthesis of environmental sustainability, reliability, and economic performance.

Designed for Future Scalability

The modular architecture of Hybreco HSM enables a "Pay-as-you-grow" approach: you can install only the modules strictly necessary for the initial thermal load and add new modules (up to 10) and endless parallel systems as operational requirements grow, without interrupting plant operations.
