See a Frigel Microgel™ RAD80 combination air cooled chiller with dual zones of temperature control operating in the Maruka USA booth 3920 to cool two molding machines:
- Zone 1 - 137-ton servo hydraulic machine processing a mold with 16 different polypropylene cavities in 30 seconds. Zone 1 will be cooling the mold, feed throat and servo hydraulic heat exchanger.
- Zone 2 - 90-ton electric machine processing a 4-cavity mold making crystal polystyrene Saki/shot glasses in 30 seconds. Zone 2 will be cooling the 3-plate mold and feed throat.
Also visit the Sumitomo (SHI) Demag booth 3800 to see our Microgel™ dual zone air cooled RAD80 and new Microgel RSD80 in operation.
- RAD80 will be used on a 16-cavity Sumitomo electric machine processing a 16- cavity tool molding insulin caps in a 6.2 second cycle
- RSD50 will be static with the controls on display
