Inside Frigel global headquarters
1980s – Pioneering of air-blast fluid coolers, Ecodry, in place of air cooled chillers and cooling towers to cool processing machines, starting a revolution in the field of industrial process cooling
2006 – Opening of North American subsidiary
2011 – Acquisition of COSFI of Lomagna (Italy) to create Frigel Custom Cooling Solutions, offering a wide range of products designed for special applications
1990s – Introduction of Microgel Process Chillers and integration with Ecodry to form the complete Frigel cooling system, an integrated approach to plastic process cooling
2007 – Opening of current 10,000 m² (108,000 ft²) global headquarters in Scandicci Italy and backed by global support
2011-2012 – Opening of sales and manufacturing subsidiaries Frigel Latino America in Brazil and Frigel Asia Pacific in Thailand
2015 – Opening of new $7 million, 9,000 m² (97,000 ft²) Asia Pacific manufacturing facility in Bangkok, Thailand to support regional market demand
